Artists at Play goes to CSAT!

Artists at Play Workshops was invited to go to Camden School of the Arts and Technology to teach a theater workshop. We traveled down to Camden Al and implemented a week long intensive theater workshop for a group of chosen 8th grade students.

The students worked on an African Folktale called, Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters based on a book (by the same name) by John Steptoe. We read the play, learned lines and choreography and performed this short play in ONE WEEK!

The students were taught the elements of theater, the collaboration process of theater and performance techniques for theater. We had a ball to say the least. Thank you CSAT for having Artists at Play Workshops at your school!
